Building Your Shot Library
Lesson Text
Every shot you hit…
leaves a trace in your system.
Not as a memory you think about.
But as a pattern your brain can return to.
Over time…
these patterns become your “shot library”.
A collection of:
- trajectories
- shapes
- speeds
- feels
And when you stand over the ball…
your brain searches that library.
Looking for something that matches the situation.
If your library is small…
the match becomes limited.
If your library is rich…
the match becomes precise.
That is what we are building here.
Not a better swing.
A better system.
The goal is not to remember what to do.
The goal is to expose your brain to enough variation…
so it doesn’t need to think at all.
How You Build It
You build your shot library through variation.
Not repetition of the same shot.
But controlled variation:
- change the shape
- change the height
- change the speed
- change the distance
Each variation teaches your brain:
“This movement creates this outcome.”
Over time…
this becomes automatic.
You don’t choose the shot consciously.
Your brain recognizes it.
Key Takeaway
You are not practicing swings.
You are building a library of solutions.
BONUS (om du vill lägga till i slutet av båda)
One Line Summary
Train more shots → gain more solutions → perform with more freedom
